The following is a transcription of the Kirby Family Cemetery located in Edgewood, British Columbia, Canada.
This cemetery is located on the former Kirby property to the east of the lower Arrow Lakes near Edgewood. It was the only cemetery in the area until the Edgewood Cemetery was developed in 1915. Most of the individuals buried here are relatives to the Kirby family.
There are believed to be at least seven burials here but only three stones are readable.
Proceeding east from Vernon on Highway 6 travel past the Edgewood junction (Inonaklin Road) and take the first turn right onto Lower Inonoaklin Road.
The cemetery is located at 120 Lower Inonaklin Road.
It is now the site of I.F. Inc. Towing & Auto Repairs owned by Ron Hodwitz.
The cemetery is on the hillside behind their house.
As this is private property permission to visit should be obtained.
